Hello, can anyone on the list help me figure out how to hook up a
full-featured alarm on my 405. I've installed the same alarm on my Mom's
car and, using a good electrical layout, it worked (works) flawlessly.
Where I am concerned is with the 405. I have the Hayne's manual, but I'm
nervous as to any differences between Euro models and my US model. Is the
wiring and numeric coding the same with cars across the shore? Or,
hopefully, does anyone know the wiring well, or have good diagrams that
they could copy off for me?

These are the wires that I need to find...

1.) Starter solonoid wire in the steering column
2.) Power door lock wiring (the lock and unlock wire--hopefully under
the dash where it's easilly accessible)
3.) Low-beam headlight wire
4.) Parking lights

I think that's all if memory serves me correctly. The idea is that all
the wires can be located under the dash so that the hook-up wires can
reach them. I don't like alarms much, but the starter kill and keyless
entry are appealing. If anyone is interested, JC Whitney has it and I can
say that it is a great alarm. On my Mom's car it has performed very well
and at only $88 it seems well worth while if you can install it yourself.
It's made by Whistler--keyless entry, daytime running lights, starter
kill, etc...

I hope someone out there can help me with these wires.
