NA spec XN6 motors for 1980-81 had 96bhp at 4900 RPM and
116 ft/lbs at 3300 RPM. These engines featured an
air pump-type air injection system and CIS-lambda FI.
1982-85 XN6s produced 97 bhp at 5000 RPM and 116 ft-lbs
at 3500 RPM. These later motors used a passive air
injection system (pulsair) and slightly revised FI
(including a fuel-cutoff decel valve). 1986- had the
same specs but did away with the Pulsair system
and, because of electronic enhancements, ran with a richer
overall mixture but produced less pollution.
