Can you go to your dealer and get a part number and a price for the
cable that hooks your temperature knob to your heat control flap?
I have wired mine wide open and it is a disaster because on the highway
you get cooked even when it's really cold outside. I have examined both
ends of
where the cable should go and I am 95% sure that our North American cars
are easily switchable from the $1000 worth of always breaking motors
and ECUs to the manual system like you have.
