The hotter the better to eliminate condensation build up in the cold.
If you can get the guage up 2/3 to 3/4 that is way better in this climate.
There is only one stat for the turbo I think it's an 82 C. But you can add
cardboard between the condenser and the rad I had my 86 XN6 SW up to
7/8 and the heat was spectacular when I shut down the heater because it was
too hot in the car the temp went up to the red. A 60/40 mix of antifz and
water will
not boil till 120 C or more especially under pressure. So why shouldn't the
car run at 100 C......cold is the enemy in winter.
I put a piece of 4" aluminum flex duct onto the airfilter instead of the
plastic air horn
I run it to the top of the exhaust where the engine can suck some warm air
to speed
warmup and minimize condensation.
