I'm trying to convert my Canadian '89 405 Mi16 so that it can meet
certain american DOT specs. Namely, I want a spedometer that shows mph
as well as kph (the '89 Mi16s only had kph on them in Canada). Does
anyone have a 405 parts car with this part of the instrument panel
still intact? I can always make one by hand I'm sure, but it would be
nice to an original. I'm not too sure how difficult it would be to
remove just the backing though - last time I took my dash apart, I didn't
check to see how well glued on the backing was.
cheers... Charles.
