platinum plugs

I recently had the dealer replace the plugs on my Acura Legend (in for
warranty work, believe it or not at 99,234 miles). They charged me $15 each
for platinum plugs. Is that right??? By the way, I have nothing to complain
about Acura reliability and warranty. I bought the extended 7 year 100,000
miles zero deductible warranty and took it in for a couple of minor problems
like the coffee holder would not lock. While it was there the dealer noticed
a very slight ticking of the fan motor and replaced it (a $700 repair), three
seals were leaking slightly (replaced) and a pinhole leak in the radiator
(replaced that). Total bill: Zero other than the plugs parts and labor. When
I inquired about how generous the warranty was since none of those were actual
failures, he said it is all about customer good will. That's why Acura is
here and Peugeot is not--the incredible reliability of the Acura vs. Peugeot
aside.
