87 Peugeot 505 STI (V6 2.8L).
The transmission needs repair, which I can't afford right now,
and I don't have the garage and tools to fix it myself.
It's really a great car, I wish I could keep it. The engine is in perfect
shape, well maintained, oil changes and tune-ups documented.
The following new parts were installed in the past few months :
1. Alternator
2. Rear shocks
3. Front brake rotors and pads
4. Rear brake rotors and pads
5. Master cylinder
6. Front tires
7. Battery
The above parts cost me well over $1,000, so it's not a bad deal
to buy it for spare parts, or for parting it out. If the buyer is handy
with repairs, and have the place and tools, the transmission
could be repaired for a few hundred bucks and you have an excellent
car for many more years.
Since the car must be towed, I'm asking only $400 for it, or take the
best reasonable offer. The car is located in Chester NY.
