I dont think you will have to worry about the insurance company using
aftermarket parts which would be the biggest concern. I doubt that anyone
finds it worth it to manufacture them. Having my 89505SWTurbo rear ended, my
biggest problem resulted from not having the ENTIRE exhaust system checked.
Even though the rear muffler was replaced, the rest of the system was bent and
until I wound up replacing other parts, I had banging noises when I went over
big bumps. So, if your rear muffler was damaged (if it is on the right side,
it may very well have been), check out the entire system or at least make sure
that the adjuster agrees to let you submit a supplemental bill if it shows up
afterward. Good luck.
