Man,

This is really starting to piss me off.

The "surging" problemm just won't quit.

I've replaced,

- the in tank pump (the main pump is still whining, I guess I may as
well change it to)
- the O2 sensor (the thing runs great when it's cold but bucks like
mad when the guage is halfway.

- the cap and rotor (I thought it might be a simple ignition problem
to begin with), also checked all plugs wires..simple ignition stuff.

The symptoms are as follows,

- as I mentioned it runs great when its cold, as it warms up it starts
to buck under load only..it idles great and revs great when it is out of
gear, as soon as I start out in any gear the car starts to buck. It's
also inconsistent, I can run the car half a day with no problems then
the problem just appears. Another thing, it is just sucking down gas.

Although now that I thik about it, it does idle rough when the problem
is happening. It has a 1 second cycle to the sound..whine off whine off
whine off. Kind of like the sound that the main fuel pump makes when it
is cavitating.

I dunno...timing advance, mixture, bad injectors, vacuum problems, all
of the above.......??????

Thoughts from the crowd?
