.....just a thought, have you made sure the 'microswitch' on the
throttlebody is functional?
A few years ago, I had the same general symptoms, and it was caused by a
non-functioning microswitch, since anything above idle was not
experiencing proper regulation because the switch wasn't sending signals
to the switches and/or solenoids under that black plastic cover on the
passenger side of the engine (XN6). Check it out, it's worth a try,
however, I'd have thought your dealer would've already determined if
this microswitch was good previously...but you never know. By the way,
if it is bad, a replacement can be had which mounts and functions just
fine from Radio Shack for about $2!
