That is the ZDJL motor and is a little loud but in a sedan must be zippy,
I have an 88 wagon with one and a 5-sp

Do you need an owners manual?

Does it work at all?

For this, best to get the factory wiring manual

May not be worth the bother!

Any of the correct length should fit OK. Pretty unfussy (compared to 405)

It's not a Turbo that would be an N9TEA.

It is a ZDJL motor of 2165cc. The motor is shared with Renault (and
AMC Medallion) although not very many parts interchange.

It is rated at 120HP@5000 131 lbs-ft@3500. I've never done anything to hop
my up but things to do for best performance/mileage:

- adjust valves
- make sure air cleaner is clean
- clean oil etc. out of intact tract
- consider a new O2 sensor ($45)
- sparks and timing

You didn't mention if it was a manual or auto. If the former, an oil
change with engine oil is recomemnded, if the latter it's a ZF4HP22
transmission and doesn't have the best history, although by 88 I think
they were better. An ATF and filter change might not hurt.
