405 and 505T stuff

I saw a beautiful black 405 S sedan on the NC State campus
tonight. It had an Mi16 style trunk spoiler and tinted windows.
The car's exterior looked like it was in showroom condition.

I have driven nothing but 505s. If I were to buy or
drive a 405, what would I miss about a 505? What are
the actual noticeable differences between them?

At the NCSU library, I found some french automotive tech
journals that were very interesting (it took me a while to
translate--I haven't spoken or written in French in a while).
The 1986 505 Turbo Injection came with a 180 HP DIN or 190 HP DIN
N9TE motor using 11.5 psi of boost (with 7.5 or 8:1 compression,
respectively). I didn't have time to look up the European N9TEA,
but I'd be interested to know specs on it.

The 1986 euro 505s were redesigned using "'89 style" tail lights,
and a very attractive body kit. The '86-up euro 505s look
very clean and muscular--the US '89 body looks dumpy next
to the euro version.

Also listed in the same article was the new XD3TE which
offered a jump from 95 to 110 HP DIN by using an intercooler
and a "different injection system". No details were given
on the injection system.
