In a 405, the fans go thru through the Temp Electronic Control ECU. You
can manually control the fans by tricking the ECU via the Coolant Temp
Sensor. That is a electrically floating thermistor that is located on the
LH rear of the block above the coolant outlet. Lowering the "R" will start
the fans.
