I used Redline WaterWetter in my old Maserati Biturbo 425. The car would run
cool in stop and go traffic, but over about 70MPH on the highway, it would get
very close to overheating, particularly with the A/C on. After flushing the
system, replacing the thermostat, and checking the electric fan operation, it
still would get very hot. WaterWetter helped to lessen the problem, although it
did not completely get the temperature to always stay back in the normal range
of operation temperature. But it is certainly worth a try. If I remember
correctly, the concept behind it is that it helps to stablize the water/coolant
mixture so that it doesn't foam up as much in the cooling system, thus providing
a greater surface area for heat transfer.
