If it's just a broken whip and it's the stock Hirschman, you can fit just
the whip. If you don't mind it sticking up you may not even have to care
about length. M-B places have ones that work in pre-89 cars. Get the old
mast/whip out and go to a Peugeot or M-B place. It's a little trickier on
89 due to the sidemount/recess which BTW, is needed to avoid the spoiler
hitting the mast.
