I'm taking my car back in next week to have the new mechanic check it, but
there's a good possibility it going to need the front ball joints replaced.
Should I go with new or used? If anyone has either, please send me your
prices.
Also, I'm having starter problems, and the owner thought it was the starter
armature (contacts worn)....a starter rebuild from a local shop is $190 (he
quoted $500 ^&%# for a new one!!), add labor costs & no car for 2 days! I'm
hoping it's just the solenoid; waiting for the mechanic get a voltmeter in
there to check it out. If you've got a used/rebuilt starter motor in good
condition to sell, please e-mail me ASAP.
