It is a 10mm square female on the plug. Craftsman drifts, punches, and
chisels have square metric handles. A 10mm one inserted into the plug and
turned with a 10-14" adjustable wrench works well.

On the other hand I have a supply of genuine Peugeot issue drainplugs which
have a 13mm male hex and the 10mm female square. They are $2. each, with a
couple of oildrainplug rings, if you remind me. They fit all the engines
that originally have the square recess plug (not N9T).
