It's possible your pump failed, however, it's possible the tachymetric
relay or the fuel injection ecu relay is at fault. The ecu relay in
particular is in the engine compartment and because of that, humidity
gets to it. Check it out. Remember, your car is 12 years old and these
things do definitely fail. At a few bucks each it's worth it. The
tachymetric relay is another thing tough. It's kind of expensive. You
can try to bypass it however, if it works, you know it's the culprit.
Still cheaper than a fuel pump.
