``There are talks and studies underway, one of the items they are closely

``It would be good for both Nissan and Renault. If you take plants that have
capacity that isn't being used, it will benefit both automakers to fill that
production.''
Nissan's plant in Aguascalientes, Mexico, will be at full capacity when the
automaker begins selling its 2000 Sentra compact car. Its plant in Cuernavaca,
Mexico, which makes an older version of the Sentra and pickup for sale in
Latin America, is using just 60 percent of its capacity.
``That doesn't mean that Renault will decide to use that plant, though. We
have a lot of flexibility and can easily move cars around.''
