I have always had this problem. It does not seem to matter what brand of
wipers. It does seem to happen more when the windshield is clean (and has
more resistance as a result). In NYC, windshields get "greasy" if they are
not cleaned. If I allow this, I get less chatter of course, but they also
don't do their real job very well either.

Subject: Wiper chatter
The mention of the Bosch wipers reminded me of the most annoying chattering
my wipers do. Since we`ve been having record drought down here its been on
the back burner, but the other day it finally rained( a bit) and I could not
leave the wipers for more than one wipe, cause they made so much noise and
jumped that I thought something might break.
The wipers are new Bosch, and it does it with old ones too, its done this
for a couple of years. I think it started after I RainX ed the wind
shield...
The linkage seems tight and they sit at what looks like the right angle.
Its like the glass is too clean and sticky, sqeaky clean.... Has anybody
been thru this??? Typical of the Bosch???
Suggestions,
TIA
