I had the same problem with my '81 toyota tercel. RainX worked fine on my
dad's escort but not on the toyota. After I had the original windshield
replaced I tried the rainx again, much better. I think it was because my
old windshield had many tiny little pits and nicks. The rainx does
terrible on the '87 505 I think because of the poor condition of it's
windshield, so I no longer use it after a few months things were back to
normal.
How are the windshields on your cars? I do have the rainx wiper fuid
additive in my dad's car and a few sprays of it seems to add to the rainx's
effectiveness on his escort.
