Mac. Those nuts are torqued to over 200 ft lbs. It takes excellent quality
tools to remove. I use Craftsman 36mm 1/2 drive socket with a 150 ft lb
craftsman torque wrench. I slip a 6 ft galvanized pipe over the wrench.
Never had a problem, except getting the tire to stop turning. Took my wife
in the car with her foot firmly on the brake pedal.

When you finally get it off, be sure to use new nuts.
