You had better get a 3/4 drive socket then and a piece of pipe for your
3/4 drive bar.
The axle nuts are removed like a std nut ie. counterclockwise.
As you can generate more force with your legs than your arms pulling up is
a better bet.
I made a bar w/ holes that bolts on to the studs to hold the hub when the
brakes aren't
strong enough.
As the nuts are staked I use a Peugeot destaking tool from the front end
tool kit
Every little bit helps.
Of course I use anti seize when I put this stuff back together.
BTW the hub, axle and bearing can come out in one piece so long as the
access hole thru
the rotor is lined up with the access hole thru the hub so that the bearing
retaining bolts
are accessable with an 8mm allen key on a socket.
