I listed an equiv. part a few days ago, a 2N2955. I didn't cross the p/n
but looked in my Peugeot manual and found it was a PNP. I know it's got a
TO-3 case so that narrows things. Knowing the voltage and current used, I
guesstimated a part #. The 2N3055 (NPN) and it are pretty "garden variety"
parts and work in most simple DC control situations.
