405 Windshield Replacement

If it weren't for my buddy, Mr. Safety Glass, I'd probably be dead now. A
stone (I presume) hit my windshield directly in front of my face, at 65
mph. Looks like a bullet hole, but didn't penetrate.

Since I have full glass coverage, my insurance company claims rep told me
this morning that the do-it-in-your-driveway people are completely booked
today, would tomorrow morning be allright? The fact that she had to ask
me how to spell Peugeot should have clued her in that there might be a
delay in finding a replacement windshield.

While I'm waiting, does anyone have any 405-specific advice to make sure
I don't end up with snow melting on my feet next winter, etc. We've dealt
with this company having side windows replaced, but I want to make sure
there aren't any little things I should know.
