405 Mi16 not running right - update - ECU wire check, # 15 goes

I went to check my wires, and I stumbled accross something..... there's a
female connecter coming from the ECU harnes to nowhere! it's labled 15... and
in the book it's supposed to go to something called "injection coding
resistor" and from there it goes to a black box (not literally, in the book)
and splits into several other wires, one of those wires go to the knock
sensor ( I can't find it at all in the car, where is it?) and it goes to
another black box and those wires go to the coolant temp sensor, and then to
the throttle switch... hmmm....
along the lines of the wires, after that female connector labled 15, there's
another one, and it's labled 15R.... what the hell is that? the wire after
the connector is red... hmmm.... I don't know what the hell those things are.
I really think this is the problem..
