In the second, I am surprised since I remember that the 505 did not do well
in frontal impact crash tests. While a very sturdy vehicle, it does not seem
to have much crush absorbing design built into it. A tank like car is great
for the feeling of solidity, but not well as an injury protector. For
instance, the new VW Beetle protects driver and passenger better than many
larger cars--because of its intelligent design. Do you really think the 505
was designed with that in mind?
