Speaking of crashworthiness, I note that my 86 505TD is far and away
the most expensive car to insure. And I mean liability only!! We have
much newer and more expensive cars, as well as my old 74 chevy truck
but nothing compares with Peugeot for raising one's liability rates.
I've had different companies and it never changes. I even told them
"hey it's a diesel - it won't burst into flame when it's hit, and it's slow" etc.

but no effect on these companies. Were they really an accident-prone car??
