Some people fit Renault Fuego brake pads as they are cheaper than 205
pads.=A0 If you have not had the car long, this may be the knock as the
pad grabs the pad, then it comes around and clunks into the top of the
caliper.

I have a problem when I am reversing in my 205 GTI, there is a knocking
noise which seems to be coming from the front brakes. If you have any
ideas on what it could be ,would be grateful for your advice.
