I used to take my Traction Avant to that festival. It was my favorite car
event because I could talk to French people who drove Tractions when they
were new and not just the usual Citroen nuts. They would tell me stories of
the Nazis, the resistance, and "Le Gang Traction Avant". One guy said it
was an ideal date car because the gear shift stuck out of the middle of the
dash, and the knob was very close to the young lady's knee...

It would be interesting to take a 403 or 404 to the Fete and collect
stories.

The food is really good there too.
