My neighbor credits his daughters life to her 84 505.
She was broadsided by a drunken run-away dump truck driver.
He arrived at the scene, saw the car and expected the worst.
He then was shocked to see his daughter walking over to him.
He had traded his convertible Volkswagon 4 months earlier for the 505.
The way I see it that torque tube is one of the reasons are cars maintain
their composure in a collision.
