Re: POLL: What other orphan cars have you owned in

I wish I could've put all the marques separately - unfortunately, the eGroups
poll function only allows for a maximum of 8 choices. I rationalize putting
Fiat/Lancia together as they were both marketed under the same organization
during the last years those two marques were in the U.S. Market (basically the
Beta years for Lancia). MG/Triumph/A-H were all British Leyland (prior to being
absorbed by then Austin-Rover). Innocenti was a tiny, tiny bit player at best,
and largely in Canada at that with the tre cilindre. If there was another
marque to include, it would probably be Daihatsu, as they had a much more recent
and succesful (relatively, that is) foray into North America. So there are the
limitations I had to work with. Sorry if anyone felt left out!

A Lancia and a Fiat are two different beast. I'll be glad to add
my Lancia when it shows separate in the poll, and the same for my
alfa romeo and fiat. (alfa is also part of the fiat group yet it
is listed separately, how come? How about Innocenti? not that I've
owned one, but they were sold in NA).
