My driveshaft finally died!!

Well I knew it was a matter of time, and this morning was that time.
My cold engine stalled, I put it in neutal to restart and then back in gear.
All I heard was grinding! It is a good thing that I have a spare driveshaft
in the attic. So the big question is... how long does it take to change, and
what are the easier methods?

Thank God that this happened 2 minutes from my home not in stop/go rushhour!
