I kind of agrees with Bill. I always get tempt to customize my Peugeot or
any other car for that matter but try to resist my self to stay within the
factory look. Especially cars like 405 which is the best looking 4 door
sedan on the road doesn't need any mess ups. I wouldn't go farther than
installing factory body kit and Mi16 spoiler and 15" wheels on my 405 S.
May be lower a little and install a nice muffler but other than that it
will mess up the legendary Fininfarina's design. Nicely customized Acura
may look cool. But a mint classic car with everything stock configuration
with original everything looks more cool to me. I can wait to restore my
91 405.

91 405 S, the final project.

71,000miles, 50 miles on a factory remanufactured ZF4HP14
Perfect dark burgandy paint and leather interior, Mi16 15" alloys, new
factory body kit and projection fog lights. But the engine is blown.
It will receive $3000 worth of new parts in next two months to bring it to
the brand new condition. Everything in original new condition.
