"Prost's engine deal with Ferrari done
    AutoRace

The Prost team has secured a customer engine deal with Ferrari for the 2001
season alongside the Sauber team and at last week's meeting in London the
Prost team was represented by Ferrari in the discussions concerning the
    future of F1.

Sources have indicated that the deal cost Prost in the region of 16.7
million pound, strengthening the speculations that Pedro Diniz will drive
for the team in 2001 along with his 6 million pound sponsorship money, which
will come in handy paying for their engine supply.

Diniz commented on the Prost team by saying: "There’s a lot of potential in
the team and with the arrival of Ferrari engines they should do a good step
    forward in 2001".
