Here's a bit of information I thought I'd never need to pull out of my
brain: Yes, there is a manual override for the seat position. You access
it from behind the seat. Raise the seat as high as it will go. Look at
the little gearbox driven by the seat motor and you will see a little
round translucent-white plug. Pull this plug out and then you have access
to the screw. I think it is an allen-head. Or maybe torx. I can't
remember. Anyway, how you drive it is up to you, but I would recommend
using an electric screwdriver with a flex-shaft. Otherwise you could be
in for a long, uncomfortable time spent in the back seat of your Mi16. One
revolution of the screw will equal about a micron of movement. PS--dry
gas is alcohol (isopropyl) used to "absorb" the water in a fuel system and
    carry it with the gas.
