My 2 pennies says you probably can't order a complete electric water
pump kit designed specifically for any make/model car. Sure, you can
save some HP, but at what cost? Economically speaking, does't make
sense to run the risk of trying to " reinvent the wheel", when it
comes to your cooling system, and risk a blown head gasket/ruined
engine, if you get the installation wrong. Where are going to put all
the plumbing? Interesting thought, and my bucks says thats were it
will stay. Too many other time proven mods that can be done.
WOT, cut the alternator off, not the cooling.
Cooldown? A few years ago, saw a lot of delayed engine shut off
systems for Turbos. Get out of your car, leave it running, lock the
doors, walk away. Device would shut down the engine, at predetermined
temp. Economics, simply give it 2 minutes at idle.
