Can any 505 owners explain what causes the thumping
sound from the rear shock absorber? My 87 505 sounds
much like the front struts on my old Mi16 in that
there
is a slight slamming due to what seems is extra
spacing
or slop in the shock absorber after it rebounds from a
bump in the road....I am sure this is common to this
model but would appreciate an inexpensive solution.
The suspension works wonderfully but the thumping
takes away from the whole Peugeot experience.
P.S. I went to see a 1988 505T at a local discount car
dealer.It was in Tacoma.Price is $950.00.Interior was
really nice,paint faded,body had minor dings,tires and
wheels were new condition.It had 156,000 miles.their
was nobody around so I didn't get get to fire it up.
It is in autotrader.com
thanks ,Chris
