I'll bet that thumping sound emanating from the ass-end of your 505 isn't
the shocks at all.. my guess is either the crossmember mounts or less
likely, the control arm bushings. Neither are terribly fun to replace, but a
rebuilt 505 rear suspension is a most enjoyable experience... Too bad I cant
talk more customers into fixing this... makes the car new again. See
previous posting on front suspension..
