I was in the back seat of my Dad's 1957 403 when my family was T-Boned by a
Lincoln Continental in 1966. Dad got a broken rib, and everyone else walked
away ( I was six at the time). When you consider that we were standing still
and this HUGE tank hit us at 40 MPH, I'd say the car saved us. It did get
totalled, and we got a new 1967green 404.
BTW, I've sold my 405Mi16 to my brother, who'se using it as a winter car to
keep the miles down on his new Passat. BTW, he just lemon lawed a Volvo S80,
