hmmm speed kills. I did a speech on speeding while in college. Some
facts about traffic fatalities, 94% occur on two lane roads at speeds
less than those on highways. The one example of no speed limits,
Germany, they found that when they tried a no speed limit on the
autobahn, every year the fatality rate dropped. Speed may be a factor in
fatalities and accidents but a minor one in the real world. Those
sitting in armchairs and determining reasons for things may come up with
any reason they like for the way things are but the facts don't always
support their conclusions.
