I have just recently removed the haze from some headlamps and the rear
tailights as well. The diffrence is pretty dramatic. I went to west marine
and picked up a bottle of Starbrite plastic scratch remover and Starbrite
plastic polish/restorer and a Meguiars foam buffing wheel (A-6500)that can
be chuck mounted on a drill. 10 minutes per side and they look ALOT better
and clear. Unfortunatly all the yellowness does not disappear but most of it
will. The rear tailights look REALLY nice now too. Much more depth, colour
and shine. I wouldnt try it by hand tho, it will take about 3 years that
    way.
