I have never seen a wire harness on the market that is compatible
with those Peugeot legos snap connectors. Some say they are, but they
aren't. I believe you will have cut off the old peugeot harness and match
up the peug wires with the new radios wires. There is a diagram online of
the wires and wire colors somewhere, I think. Not sure where. If you have
a volt meter and a basic understanding of DC current, you can identify each
    wire yourself.
Any manufacturer will fit, if the unit is ISO-DIN size (or just
DIN). You will not need a $20 mounting kit regardless of what the
salesperson says. A new DIN sized radio will be the same width/height as
the Peugeot radio. The depth of the unit should be considered, but there
is a lot of room behind the radio on the 405.
    Good luck,
