Take that one farad capacitor and carefully dispose of it. Don't allow
anything to cross the positive and negative contacts.
Most electronics use capacitors rated in MICROfarads! You could do some
serious damage (even to yourself) with that thing. A farad is a big and
potentially dangerous thing. At the very minimum, work with one hand in
your pocket. (This is a standard safety procedure to prevent a big mama
electrical current from passing through your HEART!)
