According to Advance Adapters, the trans suffered when CJ owners
bolted on extra tall tires. The small box was not able to carry the
extra torque needed to get the CJ rolling.
Advance adapters sells a Peugeot-Borg Warner T5 swap kit as well as
small block chev/ (Dare I) 3.8 litre Buick bell housing kits for the
Ba10/5 transmissions in CJ trim. Only for the openminded.
