    Hi Jimmy,

I am located in Freeport, Maine (south coastal area near Portland). I made
an offer on an 87 v6 5spd last month in Portland. It registered only 115,000
miles, a hole in the left rear quarter, what would qualify as "inner fender"
(here, they rust out at that location), one non-working window motor, fair
appearance for its age, a 6-flash code signal (meaning anything from a set
of plugs to an engine, I guess). Owner wanted $700. I offered $300. He still
    owns the car.

I say all this not to pull down on your asking price, but to highlight the
variance in pricing and value for our lions of a certain age. Over the first
six months of ownership, I would expect to put a grand into the $300 lion
here and still not have the car you have there. In New England, our
priorities are a little different. Rust-free is not much of a concept; we
settle for rust-not-much, sometimes for rust-quite-a-lot, if we like the
    mechanicals and the interior!

I think if I were transported to northern California and wanted a 5sp v6, my
only concern at $2500, would be the 150k miles. I would know I should have
another 50k pretty easily, but I would hesitate expecting that to be a more
expensive 50k than the previous one! If you aren't in a rush, that price is
worth keeping a while longer. I would. Other than miles, the car sounds
    preaty neat! Heated leather seats?

    Gene
