Dished Nozzles?

When I removed 7 injectors at the PP last week, I left 6 in the yard
and took 4. There were 3 others in the trunk of the '85 that were
130s. But every one was dished and worn out. Every new Bosch nozzle
I have seen is dead flat on the surface with no depression. I am of
the opinion that any depression is indication of wear and poor
pattern and consequently poor fuel burn. Can anybody shed any more
light on this assessment? Bill
