    Peter:

I just cannot help but feel you're acting like a real jerk about this
issue. You sold me a mirror with a broken, stripped pivot mount, as well
as one with a glass totally watermarked. I wouldn't call that
'embellishment' or 'childish complaints', I'd call those solid facts.
Why the hell didn't you check the thing out properly before selling it
    and sending it to me?

I receive it and delve into it and discover all this and I'm supposed to
feel good about it. Sheesh. I was willing to somehow use that mirror and
perhaps even use pieces of both my mirrors to get one solid, working
unit. Obviously that cannot be done with the condition your mirror was
in. And I'm somehow supposed to be the bad guy in all this, huh?

You want the mirror back in exactly the condition you sent it to me.
Hmmm...does that mean you'd have tried to peddle it to some other
unsuspecting soul? Sounds like it. If you're going to sell parts at
least sell parts that aren't broken and defective, and represent them as
accurately as possible. This item surely wasn't.

Now that the watermarked glass (totally useless anyway) is broken, do
you really think I'm going to somehow rectify that situation in order to
send this piece of crap back to you? I don't think so. Your ideas on
this seem to be out in right field, totally separated from reality.

If that $50 is so important to you, you can keep it. I'll just make sure
to deal with a reputable parts seller in the future. I've been on the
Peugeot list for years myself and have owned and driven Peugeots for a
decade and a half, and I've never encountered someone so adamant on
their shaky position regarding a used part as you. It's pitiful, really.
You're a sad person....it's people like you that only make a sometimes
    trying Peugeot ownership even worse.
