You know, I'd really like a chance to drive a 304. I think it's a
neat car--a nice compact FWD package, mini-504 styling, wonderful
ride/seats, and a *decent* size.
I have thought a lot of trying to find an old 304 here in the US and
installing an XL4D engine unit, or some other proper 204/304 diesel
engine unit. I remember reading an article on the 204 diesel--had
good economy, enough power to attain 80 MPH, and an unusually high
redline (something like 5500 RPM). 0-60 took all afternoon, but who
cares???
Aside from that, I would definitely want to own a 404 AND 504 at some
point. I would *have* to have a 404 Injection, doesn't matter what
body style though I'd prefer a coupe or cabriolet, of course.
When I get a 504, I'd prefer a sedan... either an early XN1 or an
XD90 with 4 speed, something simple and charming like that.
