Firstly, what is the company?
Secondly, what sort of crap bank do you deal with that would add a
30% fee for an international money order or bank draft? I pay a flat
fee of $5 for this here in Canada, no matter what the amount involved.
Thirdly, Visa can be a good way to do the transaction because there
is no "international" fee - you only get charged for the exchange
rate, which is usually better than you'd get for cash in a bank, or
with a bank draft. The other benefit of this is that if you don't
get the parts, or there are other problems, the credit card company
will help you out. They don't want their business clients abusing
consumer clients' cards.
For the parts, the mode of delivery is of prime importance! Air
freight will kill you for anything, and there are brokerage fees
ets. I always prefer using the post office, sea mail (insured) for
heavy parts and "economique" for small-ish, light parts. Make sure
the parts will not be sent by air freight!!
